Affiliate Marketing Training: comparing free eBooks etc. with paid training programs, what is the (big?) difference?
Becoming an affiliate of a given merchant, means placing that business’s advertisements/links on your site, and you’ll receive a commission for every paying customer you refer to the merchant’s site. Easy as that.
But is it as easy as that? Or is it a profession on his own? And what can you do to learn and manage this way of marketing on the right way?
First of all: free eBooks all over! Here counts as well, there are really good ones and there are ones who are really into making money (for them) fast and not saying anything specifically. To give you more info about a good one, here is one. You can download this affmasters-course-free-ebook which gives a very clear overview of all the basics of what a affiliate marketer needs to know. For another good one: you can have a look at netmarketingcourse with his 7-days Payload profits (for advanced as well) on the right top with subscription.
One tip for the ‘ newbies‘: I did open a special email account for getting to know more of these affiliate teachers because some really email/spam you too much…..and sometimes with no interesting info at all (will come to that another time..).
Next, we have a look at the paid Affiliate Marketing Training programs.
What extras can they offer you?
Affiliate marketing blueprint : They give a 12 weeks plan and it goes through a weekly step by step guide (with downloadable pdf ‘s and videos) through the process of monetizing your site. It includes in-depth material and tips which can make the difference between ok-site and good earning site.
One of the great things I like is that they offer (as a premium member which is around 37 US dollar per month, not cheap but worthwhile for one month to check it out) is a really interactive forum with a lot of content on it where you can surf on, for all your questions. So if you are not the type of questioning yourself (like me) you just use the search tool to look at the other discussions.
My conclusion would be that affiliate marketing is so specific that any training program in the beginning is helping. But in general I believe (and this is of course logical as well) that paid affiliate marketing training programs do have:
- better content and tips : more in-depth with more secrets revealed
- better support and feedback : although some will not need it, it can be good to let an expert have a look at your site and questions.
- better sources and discounts for using new (automation) tools etc. So at the end it will definitely save you time and make you more money and business.
